The Sand Veracruz area conurbated Veracruz-Boca del Rio is the headquarters of the tenth edition of the Cup of Friendship 2023 TKD, where they gather more than 900 participants from different categories from various points of the entity and of the country.

The event has the endorsement of the Mexican Taekwondo Federation and the Union of Competitive Clubs Taekwondo in the state and the professor Angelica Jimenezcoach Poomsae of the state of Quintana Roo.

The fighting began on Saturday and continued on Sunday, with participants from over 16 states of the Mexican Republic, of various categories within the taekwondo national.

Erick Uzziel González Caamal, a student of grade 4 of primary education in the Rockefeller Institute, participated in combat KYORUGUI in the category green belts to black belts/ POOM 6° KUP to black/POOM. Won the third place and won the bronze medal.
